Hiring! Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region Community Champion Summer and Fall 2023
Description: Support the mission of Generation Wild Pikes Peak Region "To practically empower all by improving individual, societal, and environmental health and creating access to opportunities in the great outdoors" by working with the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region Coordinator to support community connection, marketing, and social media.
Who we are looking for:
Someone who is actively engaged with and positively participates in the Southeast Colorado Springs and is involved in the community of the Southeast in multiple ways.
Works in communities that would be considered “underserved” through historical or/and current social determinants of health and/or pursuing greater equity in Colorado Springs.
Passionate, energetic, and social justice driven to include, protect, promote, inspire, build, and nurture the diverse communities in Colorado Springs.
Responsible for own transportation.
Responsibilities:
-Growing GenWild PPR Social Media presence
-Outreach with local community leaders and members about GenWild PPR’s mission and programs.
-Working with the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region Coordinator to streamline messaging and planning for programs and meeting the needs of the communities served.
-Support the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region Coalition as requested.
-This position may require attending and working events outside of regular business hours.

Total of 20 weeks
Hours: Minimum 5 to maximum 15 hours per week as needed and directed in accordance to the tasks assigned per week. There is a maximum total of 300 hours (15 hours X 20 weeks).
Pay: $20.00/hour. Mileage reimbursement will be available if use of a personal vehicle with insurance at the federal rate.
