INSPIRING A NEW GENERATION OF YOUTH OUTDOORS

  • PROGRAMS

    PROGRAMS

Together our coalition of community partners are dedicated to helping kids and families connect with nature, right here in our own backyard. Through hands-on programs, outdoor events, and local partnerships, we make it easier and more fun for everyone to explore the outdoors.

From nature-based camps and family festivals to youth leadership and career pathway programs, our coalition works together to remove barriers and create lasting connections to the natural world. We believe every child deserves the chance to play, learn, and grow outside.

  • PATHWAYS

Discover your path. Build your future.

The Generation Wild Pathways Program offers paid opportunities for high school and college students to explore outdoor careers. Work alongside local partner organizations in areas like environmental education, natural resources, recreation, and community outreach.

Gain hands-on experience, build leadership skills, and make a difference in your community, all while inspiring others to get outside and explore.

  • PARTNERS

We work alongside a diverse network of local organizations that share a passion for helping kids and families connect with nature.

Together, we offer programs that get kids outside, whether it’s younger children exploring nature in their own neighborhoods or older youth adventuring in Colorado’s wild places. Each partner brings unique strengths in education, recreation, conservation, and community engagement, creating meaningful opportunities for outdoor play, learning, and discovery across the region.

Our partners make it possible for every child to experience the joy and wonder of the outdoors, close to home and beyond.
